Ernst Lassacher

Ernst Lassacher (born August 15, 1960 in Oberweißburg ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Lassacher is a community politician in St. Michael im Lungau and has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since June 2018 .

Life

Lassacher attended the elementary school in Oberweißburg until 1971 and completed his further way to school until 1975 at the secondary school in St. Michael im Lunggau. As a result, Lassacher worked as an employed bank clerk and was at times part-time farmer. He has been married since 1983 and has three children.

Lassacher joined the Freedom Party in 1988 and is a member of the community council of St. Michael im Lungau. He ran as a candidate for the mayoral election in 2014, but only received 4.5 percent of the votes cast in St. Michael im Lungau. In the national elections in Austria in 2013 , he ran for first place on the FPÖ list for the regional constituency of Lungau / Pinzgau / Pongau . However, after the postal votes were counted, he narrowly missed the basic mandate. After FPÖ regional chairman Karl Schnell was expelled from the party, Lassacher stayed with the Salzburg FPÖ and was elected FPÖ district chairman in Lungau in July 2015. Within the party, Lassacher is also the local party chairman of the FPÖ St. Michael im Lungau, member of the district party leadership of the FPÖ-Lungau, member of the regional party leadership of the FPÖ Salzburg and member of the regional party executive. He stood in the state elections in Salzburg in 2018 as the FPÖ top candidate and second in the Lungau list and was sworn in as a member of the Salzburg state parliament on June 13, 2018 in the constituent state parliament session of the 16th legislative period .

Lassacher is chairman of the Oberweißburg men's choir.
