Kilian Brandstätter

Kilian Brandstätter (born August 27, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). He has been a member of the Burgenland State Parliament since 2015 .

Life

Kilian Brandstätter grew up in Gols in the Neusiedl am See district , where he attended elementary school and secondary sports school. After graduating from the commercial academy in Frauenkirchen in 2010 , he completed military service in the army troop school in Bruckneudorf . From 2010 to 2015 he was the Burgenland state chairman of the Socialist Youth (SJ). Since 2012 he has been the youth council of the municipality of Gols. In October 2019 he was elected SPÖ local party chairman for Gols.

On July 9, 2015 he was in the XXI. Legislative period as a member of the Burgenland state parliament, where he acts as SPÖ area spokesman for youth and is a member of the environmental committee.

In February 2019, he was elected as the successor to Hans Niessl together with Maximilian Köllner as SPÖ chairman in the Neusiedl am See district.
