Roman Kainrath

Roman Kainrath (born May 3, 1977 ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). He has been Vice Mayor of the market town of Lutzmannsburg since 2017 and a member of the Burgenland State Parliament since February 17, 2020 .

Life

Roman Kainrath has been working as a police officer for the Burgenland State Police Department since 1998 . As a football player, he is active for SV Lutzmannsburg .

After the municipal council elections in 2017 , he was elected Vice Mayor of the market town of Lutzmannsburg . In the early state elections in Burgenland 2020 , he ran in state electoral district 4 ( Oberpullendorf district ) behind Provincial Councilor Heinrich Dorner and Elisabeth Trummer in third place on the list. On February 17, 2020, he was appointed at the constituent meeting of the XXII. Legislative period as a member of the Burgenland Landtag , where he became a member of the Immunity and Incompatibility Committee and the Economic Committee. In the SPÖ state parliament club, he acts as area spokesman for clubs, road construction, administration and citizen services.
