Heinrich Dorner

Heinrich Dorner (born February 9, 1981 ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Since February 28, 2019, he has been the Provincial Councilor of the Burgenland Provincial Government Doskozil I and Doskozil II and is responsible for the areas of construction, spatial planning, transport and housing subsidies.

Life

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 2000, Heinrich Dorner began studying business administration at the Wiener Neustadt Technical College and Research Institute (specializing in structural engineering) , which he completed in 2006 as a master's degree at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . From 2003 he held various positions for Johnson & Johnson , most recently as Business Unit Director in Vienna .

Dorner is married and has twins. His father of the same name (* 1955) was mayor of Lackenbach from 1987 .

Since 2001 he is a member of the municipal council in Lackenbach , where he said since 2017 parish council heard. In 2016 he was appointed to the board of the Association of Social Democratic Academics, Intellectuals, Artists (BSA) Burgenland.

On February 4, 2019, he was presented as the successor to Norbert Darabos of the SPÖ Burgenland as future regional councilor for the areas of construction, spatial planning, transport and housing subsidies in the state government Doskozil I , he was elected and sworn in on February 28, 2019 . On April 6, 2019, he was elected as the successor to Darabos as SPÖ district party leader in the Oberpullendorf district. In the state elections in 2020 , he ran as a top candidate in the state electoral district of Oberpullendorf , where he received 4,945 preferential votes on the district list. After the resignation of Provincial Councilor Christian Illedits on August 1, 2020, he also took over the sporting agenda and the Committee of the Regions from Illedit's successor Leonhard Schneemann in the state government Doskozil II .
