The Lubimez Nunatak ( Bulgarian нунатак Любимец nunatak Ljubimez ) is a north-northeast-south-southwest orientation 3.9 km long, 1.8 km wide and 1100 m high and partly icy nunatak on the west side of the Elgar Uplands on the Alexander-I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 6.27 km northwest of Mount Pinafore and 5.62 km northeast of the Appalachia Nunatakker in the middle of the Bartók Glacier .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2017 after the town of Ljubimez in southern Bulgaria .
