Mount Pinafore is a striking and around 1100 m high mountain in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises between the Bartók and Sullivan glaciers .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 based on the names of the Sullivan and Gilbert glaciers after the opera HMS Pinafore by Arthur Sullivan and William Schwenck Gilbert from 1878.
