Karl Meier (politician, 1867)

Karl Wilhelm Meier (born May 7, 1867 in Wiesbaden ; † October 17, 1944 there ) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

Meier was a trained chimney sweep. He worked as an authorized district chimney sweep and was chief master of the Wiesbaden chimney sweep guild.

Meier was a city councilor and city elder in Wiesbaden. During the Weimar Republic , he joined the German People's Party (DVP). In May 1928 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he was a member until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 19 (Hessen-Nassau).
