Karl Ochsner
Karl Ochsner (born February 25, 1946 in Wels , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian entrepreneur.
Life
After graduating from secondary school in 1964, Karl Ochsner studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He completed his studies in 1968 as a graduate engineer from the ETH.
Karl Ochsner is the founder and was managing director of a manufacturer of heat pumps from 1976 to 2016 . From 2016 to 2017 he was managing director of a manufacturer of industrial and process heat pumps. He is the author of specialist books on heat pumps. He was chairman of the Federal Heat Pump Association Austria and chairman of the European Heat Pump Association based in Brussels. He is currently its honorary president.
