Karl Rigl

Karl Rigl (born May 13, 1909 , † December 11, 1971 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and master electrician. Rigl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1964 to 1971 .

Rigl completed evening courses after completing the community and business school and in 1935 he started his own business as an electrical engineer in St. Pölten . He served between 1940 and 1945 in World War II, where he was also taken prisoner of war. Rigl worked as a councilor in Sankt Pölten between 1955 and 1960 and was also active as a state guild master between 1960 and 1970. In addition, he held various chamber functions and was appointed to the Commercial Council. Rigl represented the ÖVP between November 19, 1964 and December 11, 1971 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
