Karl Wegener (politician)

Karl Wegener (born February 5, 1934 in Gladbeck ) is a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After obtaining his technical college entrance qualification, Karl Wegener attended the agricultural school. He completed an agricultural apprenticeship in his parents' business as well as an external apprenticeship which he completed with the assistant examination. After attending master school, he became an agricultural master and independent farmer.

politics

Karl Wegener has been a member of the CDU since 1961. He was chairman of the city association of the CDU Lüdinghausen and a co-opted member of the district board of the CDU Coesfeld, member of the district council of Coesfeld and the regional assembly of Westphalia-Lippe.

From May 31, 1990 to May 31, 1995, Karl Wegener was a directly elected member of the 11th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 094 Coesfeld I.
