Karla Drenner

Karla Drenner (born September 10, 1961 in Charleston , West Virginia ) is an American politician .

Life

Drenner reached a Bachelor of Science at West Virginia State College , an MBA from Fontbonne College , a Master of Science at the Southern Illinois University and a PhD at La Salle University . After completing her studies, she got a job as a professor at DeVry University , where she teaches environmental sciences, among other things. Drenner since 8 January 2001 Member of the Georgia House of Representatives for the 86th District in DeKalb County in place of June Hegstrom . She is a member of the Democratic Party .

Drenner lives openly gay in Avondale Estates , Georgia .
