The Karower Kaisereiche is a pedunculate oak in the Berlin district of Karow in the Pankow district .

history

On 9 November 2004, the great-grandson of the last German has Kaiser Wilhelm II. Dr. Friedrich Wilhelm Prince of Prussia solemnly planted a new imperial oak in front of the spray booth at a historical site . For the 100th birthday, in honor of Kaiser Wilhelm I, on March 22, 1897, imperial oaks were planted on the village meadow in Buch and on the square in front of the church in Karow. Exactly 15 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and 66 years after the November pogroms , a piece of Prussian tradition was continued in front of the Alte Feuerwache .
