history

Kazakhstan Kagazy was founded in 2001. One year after the company was founded, a contract for the supply of packaging machines was signed with the Chinese Hubei Jingshan Light Industrial Machinery Co. LTD. It entered the paper trade in 2003 and has a presence in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan .

The company was listed on the Kazakh Stock Exchange in 2005. Production was expanded over the next two years. In 2007, Kazakhstan Kagazy agreed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Kazkommertsbank a financial package of over 90 million US dollars for the development of paper production in Kazakhstan.
