Katharina Bierbrauer

Katharina Bierbrauer is a German art historian .

She received her doctorate in 1972 under Florentine Mütherich at the University of Munich . Her research area is early medieval, in particular pre-Carolingian and Carolingian book illumination .

She is married to the early historian Volker Bierbrauer .
