Katharina Bunk

Katharina Bunk (born January 18, 1991 in Kaufbeuren ) is a German memory athlete . In 2002 she started the memory sport. Already in August of the same year she registered for the world championship in memory sports, where she took first place in the children's category. Further placements were:

  • 2002: German child champion
  • 2003: South German child champion
  • 2003: German child champion
  • 2004: South German Vice Junior Champion
  • 2005: German Junior Champion , Junior World Champion , North German Champion
  • 2006: North German champion
  • 2007: German junior champion

At the moment she is on the adult world rankings of memory sports on place 16, her brother Sebastian is on place 21. On February 16, 2007 Katharina Bunk was a guest on the show Pssst ... at Harald Schmidt .

She holds a degree in bio-science from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and studied bionics / biomimetics in energy systems at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences.
