Katherine Zappone
Katherine Zappone (born November 25, 1953 in Washington State ) is an Irish politician .
Life
Zappone studied theology at Boston College , the Catholic University of America, and University College Dublin . Zappone was a Senator in Ireland from May 2011 to February 2016. Zappone has been Minister for Children and Young People's Affairs since May 6, 2016. Zappone was married to Ann Louise Gilligan , who died on June 15, 2017.
