Katsuyuki Saitō ( Japanese 斎 藤 克 幸 , Saitō Katsuyuki ; born April 7, 1973 in Fukushima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Saitō learned to play soccer on the school team of Fukushima Higashi High School and the university team of Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract in 1997 with Brummell Sendai (today: Vegalta Sendai). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club . For the club he completed 94 games. At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player.
