The Katzenbacher Hof is a well-known restaurant in the west of Stuttgart-Vaihingen near the Steinbachsee . It emerged from a cattle farm that was operated on behalf of the "Hospital for the Poor and Needy in Esslingen". At the beginning of the 19th century, the Rinderhof area was largely reforested. Today's Katzenbacher Hof was built in 1896 and is now a listed building.
