Akcinė bendrovė Kauno grūdai ( KG , Eng. "Kaunas grains") is one of the largest grain processing companies in Lithuania , based in Kaunas . It belongs to the Lithuanian company group " KG Group ". The company employs over 400 people. In 2009 the company covered 42% of the Lithuanian wheat flour market, 38% of the compound feed market and 20% of the dog food market. AB “Kauno grūdai” bought 15–20% of the wheat grown in Lithuania. In 2012 "Kauno grūdai" achieved sales of 942 million LTL (272 million euros).
The export countries are Russia , Belarus , Poland , Israel , Latvia , Estonia , Moldova , United Kingdom and Ireland .
