Cavalry trilogy

As a cavalry trilogy three are Western director John Ford referred, which appeared from 1948 to 1950.

In terms of content, the three western films are not directly linked to each other, but they all play a few years after the end of the Civil War in a cavalry unit of the US Army . The daily and private lives of soldiers in the cavalry are shown as well as battles with the Indians. The most important personnel is the same in all three films: John Ford as director, Merian C. Cooper as producer and John Wayne as leading actor. The cavalry trilogy has been very well received by critics to this day.
