Kegel Bundesliga (Bohle)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The bowling league (Bohle) is the highest division in German bowling in the Bohle section. It is organized by the German Bohle Kegler Verband (DBKV) eV .

The German men's champion is determined from the participating clubs in a double round tournament ( Double Round Robin , see also tournament form and round- robin tournament ), i.e. each club competes against every other club in home and return matches. The women's teams meet only once during the season; It is therefore played on neutral lanes.

In addition to the Bundesliga, championships of the club teams are held every year, for which the participants must qualify in district, regional and state championships.

Bundesliga season 2019/2020

The 2019/2020 season was canceled by the DBKV board due to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 17, 2020 and all outstanding point games canceled. As a result, no team relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga or the 1st Bundesliga this season. All games of the season were therefore not rated and the Bundesliga was reset to the status of June 30, 2019, i.e. the end of the 2018/2019 season. In addition, the entire further game operation of the DBKV was discontinued, as this was recommended by the umbrella organization DKB and the federal government.
