Itō Keiichi
Itō Keiichi ( Japanese 伊藤 桂 一 ; * August 23, 1917 ; † October 29, 2016 ) was a Japanese writer.
Ito served as a soldier in the Japanese Army in China and Manchuria during World War II. He processed his experiences during this time in novels such as Hotaru no Kawa ( 螢 の 河 ; 1961 with the Naoki Prize ) and Rakujitsu no senjō ( 落日 の 戦 場 ; 1965).
