KelKel

KelKel is a youth resistance movement in Kyrgyzstan .

Translated from the Kyrgyz language, KelKel means radiant rebirth of good . The movement is apparently under the influence of other Eastern European student movements such as Otpor in Serbia , Kmara in Georgia and Pora! in Ukraine , all influenced by Gene Sharp's theories of nonviolent resistance .
