Kellermüller & Hofmann was a Swiss architecture office from the 1920s and 30s based in Winterthur , which attracted international attention primarily in residential construction, prototyping at building exhibitions and in housing developments. The partners were Hans Hofmann (1897–1957) , who came from Zurich, and Adolf Kellermüller (1895–1981) from Winterthur .

After the architects had had their own offices or worked with different architects for a few years, they founded the partnership and the joint office in 1928, which essentially lasted until 1941, when Hans Hofmann was appointed to ETH Zurich and did not build for several years. In 1952 it was finally dissolved. With the planning of two housing estates, it quickly made a name for itself in terms of building for the subsistence level or cooperative building: The Stadtrain settlement in Winterthur, two-storey arcade houses in row construction, and row houses of the Heimstättengenossenschaft Winterthur. At the time, both projects were perceived as unconventional types of residential buildings to save costs as much as possible with a floor plan that was easy to use.
