Kelvin Leong

Leong Ian Veng , known as Kelvin Leong , (born February 22, 1981 in Macau ) is a Macau racing driver . He won the Macau Touring Car Championship in 2008, 2009 and 2012 .

Career

Leong began his motorsport career in touring car racing . In 2007 he finished second in a Honda Integra in the Macau Fortuna Trophy . In 2008 and 2009 Leong won the N2000 classification of the Macau Touring Car Championship and in 2009 also won the Macau / Hong Kong Interport Race . In 2010 Leong finished third overall in the AAMC Challenge of the Macau Touring Car Championship and fourth in the Macau CTM Race . For the 2011 season, Leong switched to a Honda Accord . He improved to second in the Macau Touring Car Championship and third in the Macau CTM Race. In 2012, Leong secured the AAMC Challenge of the Macau Touring Car Championship. In addition, Leong made his debut in the 2012 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). In a Honda Accord Euro-R, he took part in an event for the Song Veng Racing Team . He was left without points.
