Kemono
Kemono ( Japanese 獣 'wild animal' ) is a domain of Japanese art and character design that mainly depicts fictional, animal-like characters in human environments and situations. It is used extensively in drawings , paintings , manga , anime, and computer games and is also becoming increasingly popular outside of Japan.
Human-like Kemono characters are called Jūjin or Kemonobito (both written 獣 人 , literally "animal man"), therianthropes . Her unique portrayal differs from artist to artist, but in general she blends positive traits with animal traits that are considered cute and adorable. Still, most Kemono characters are human and rarely act like the animals they were modeled after.
Kemono are usually depicted the same way that humans would be depicted in a given situation: they speak, wear clothes, eat human food, and live in houses.
