Demilich was a death metal band from Finland .
history
Demilich achieved cult status in the underground because they created a unique sound. They combined brutal Death Metal with melodic guitars and underlined them with very deep vocals.
The demand for the only regular album Nespithe is still unbroken and the album has now been re-released for the third time.
Since the band did not receive any money from their former label Necropolis Records , all songs, demos and covers were made available for download on the website out of frustration.
The band has not been active since 1995. According to front man Boman, the band just fizzled out at some point, then the scene bored him and he didn't want to take part in the emerging rivalry between Black and Death Metal. In 2005 the band got together again and in 2006 re-recorded two old rehearsal room pieces; both with singing for the first time. However, the pieces have not been published. This was also followed by appearances in the USA , as well as a last concert on July 22, 2006 in Kuopio , after which Demilich was officially dissolved.
