Kenta Shimaoka ( Japanese 島 岡 健 太 , Shimaoka Kenta ; born July 26, 1973 in Mie Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Shimaoka learned to play soccer on the school team at Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School and the university team at Kansai University . He signed his first contract in 1996 with Tosu Futures (today: Sagan Tosu). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 92 games. At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player.
