Kerstin Straka (born January 26, 1980 in Berlin ) is a former German-Austrian soccer player .

Life

Kerstin Straka is the daughter of Friedrich Carl Straka and Marlies Straka (née Schweinberger) and grew up in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg . Due to the origin of her father, she has German and Austrian citizenship.

Athletic career

Soccer

In 2007 Straka was appointed to the squad of the Austrian national team, for which she played two games.

From 2004 to 2009 she played soccer in the 2nd Bundesliga at Tennis Borussia Berlin and was the top scorer in the 2008/09 season with twelve goals in 17 games together with Martina Fennen from SV Victoria Gersten . In April 2009 she suffered a knee injury, whereupon she was unable to compete in the first Bundesliga with Tennis Borussia Berlin in the following season 2009/2010.

In 2010 Straka moved to FSV Spandauer Kickers to play in the women's association league.

From 2012, Straka played tennis again, just like in her youth. She was registered for the Siemens Blue-Gold tennis club in 1913 and, in her first season for Siemensstadt, celebrated promotion to the top league of the Berlin-Brandenburg tennis association.
