The Kessler + Luch development and engineering company mbH & Co. KG is a service company from Giessen .

history

The company was founded in Gießen in 1948 and sold to Steag in Essen in 1974 after the company's founder Ernst Keßler died . In the years that followed, the Kessler + Luch company temporarily employed over 1000 people across Germany, spread across 16 branches. Special areas were ventilation technology for product protection, in particular clean room technology and ventilation technology for occupational safety and environmental protection.

With effect from August 1, 2000, the company became a subsidiary of Thyssen-Krupp AG and merged with four other companies to form ThyssenKrupp HiServ. At that time, Kessler + Luch had 740 employees and an annual turnover of 285 million DM. Effective October 1, 2004, ThyssenKrupp HiServ was sold to Wisag , with the company name being changed to HiServ Gebäudedienstleistungen GmbH. Since 1970, Kessler + Luch has also had a research and development department based in Giessen. The task of this central department was to support the branches in their own development center with innovative research and new developments.

Since January 1, 2007, this former department with 15 employees has been run independently as Kessler + Luch Development and Engineering Company mbH & Co. KG. With its development center, today's society meets all the requirements for device, system and process engineering research in order to act independently in the field of ventilation technology.
