Chain punch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The chain punch is a self-defense technique in which both hands are punched in quick succession.

execution

The joints are made in a straight line. There is always one arm in the completed thrust, while the other is drawn in front of the body with the hand. After the pushing arm has reached the desired extension (varies by style), it is pulled back while the second arm is pushed forward. This results in a continuous punching movement in which both arms execute the same movement with a time delay. In most cases, the fist moved forward is pushed over the withdrawn one. In contrast to many other punching techniques, the fist in the chain punch is held vertically and forms a straight extension of the forearm.

field of use

The chain punch is known nowadays from the martial art Wing Chun .
