Keweenaw Rocket Range

The Keweenaw Range was a rocket launch site on the Keweenaw Peninsula in the US state of Michigan. A number of Arcas sounding rockets were launched from Keweenaw between 1964 and 1970 . In addition, tests with ground-based missiles were carried out. The last missiles to be launched by Keweenaw were two Nike Apache missiles in late January 1971. Today some remains of launch pads remain.
