Khön Könchog Gyelpo ( Tib . : 'khon dkon mchog rgyal po ; * 1034 ; † 1102 ) is considered to be the founder of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism due to the establishment of the Sakya monastery "Gray Earth" in 1073 . Khön Könchog Gyelpo became the first Sakya Thridzin (Sakya throne holder) posthumously .
