Khadija Njie Sanusi

Khadija Njie Sanusi (also: Njie-Sanusi ) is a Gambian functionary in swimming .

Life

In 2011 she was elected Vice President of the Gambia Swimming Association (GSA), but later resigned.

On April 4, 2015, she was elected president of the GSA unopposed. Due to illness, she was not present at the polls. She succeeded the incumbent Pa Alieu Jallow , who had held the post since November 2013 and withdrew his candidacy at short notice. At that time she was a member of the SBEC Swimming Club of the Shiloh Bilingual Education Center (SBEC School) in Bijilo .

In mid-February 2017, she announced her resignation in a letter to the association. She had moved to Ghana with her husband .

Bintou Huma was elected as successor as president in April 2018 .
