Bijilo is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 5664 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1542.
geography
Bijilo is located in the West Coast Region in the Kombo North district , on the Atlantic coast and is approximately four kilometers west of Sukuta and four kilometers south of Kololi . The stretch of beach on the coast is called Bijilo Beach .
The place is named after the nearby Bijilo Forest Park .
