This is a list of the localities in Gambia .
By far the largest agglomeration in Gambia is the Kombo-St. Mary Area with a population of 422,877 (as of 2013). This means that around a quarter of the country's population is concentrated in this region. The capital and eighth largest town or city of Gambia is Banjul with 31,356 inhabitants.
The following table lists the villages with more than 5,000 inhabitants, the results of the census of April 15, 1993, a calculation for January 1, 2012 and the region to which the city belongs. The results of the 2013 census are not included.
