Mandinari is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, around 12,572 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 3423.

geography

Mandinari, on the southern bank of the Gambia River in the West Coast Region , Kombo North district , is around 4.2 kilometers west of Lamin and around six kilometers northeast of Banjul International Airport .

In the north is the southern end of the mangrove forest Tanbi Wetland Complex with the Mandinari Bolong and the Mandinari Point on the banks of the Gambia River. Further south is Mandina Point .

economy

Gambia's oil - tank farm of Gam-Petroleum Company Limited was taken west on the banks of the Gambia in Mandinari on 24 May 2008 in operation.
