Lamin is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 39,183 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 10,668.

Lamin, on the south bank of the Gambia River in the West Coast Region , Kombo North District , is on the South Bank Road between Abuko with the Abuko Nature Reserve , which is about one kilometer away, and Yundum with the Banjul International Airport . The only airport in Gambia is about five kilometers away.
Culture and sights
Nearby, about 1.7 kilometers away, is the Lamin Lodge , which is a popular destination near Kombo-St. Mary Area is. There you can observe mangroves with their extensive bird life in the Tanbi Wetland Complex .
