Sifoe (spelling variant: Siffoe ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for the year 2013, there are around 7,219 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 3,240.

geography

Sifoe in the West Coast Region Kombo South District is seven kilometers east of Gunjur . Three kilometers away is the Allahein River , which flows southwest into the Atlantic Ocean and is also the border river to the neighboring state of Senegal .
