Garowol (spelling variant: Garawoll and Garawol ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, about 8,272 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 6,512.

geography

Garowol is located in the Upper River Region , Kantora District , and is the third largest town in the Upper River Region after Basse Santa Su and Gambissara . The place is about five kilometers northwest of Fatoto and about 33 kilometers from Basse Santa Su.
