Sabi is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, about 9,987 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 4,734.

geography

Sabi, in the Upper River Region district fulladu east , lies on the main road leading from Basse Santa Su south to Vélingara in the region of Casamance in Senegal leads. Sabi is about nine kilometers from Basse Santa Su and about 13 kilometers from Vélingara. The Senegalese border is two kilometers away.

The Sabi Forest Park is four kilometers from the village between Basse Santa Su and Sabi .
