Tujereng (spelling variant: Tujering ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, about 5646 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 2534.
geography
Tujereng is located in the West Coast Region , Kombo South District , on the Atlantic coast, around five kilometers south of Tanji and six kilometers north of Sanyang .
Culture and sights
The renowned artist Baboucarr Etu Ndow (1966–2014) ran the Tunbung Art Village and Gallery in Tujereng .
