Jim Abrahams
Jim Abrahams (born May 10, 1944 in Shorewood , Wisconsin ) is an American screenwriter and film director . He is part of the filmmaker trio ZAZ .
Abrahams is best known for the screenplays he wrote with brothers Jerry and David Zucker . These include the unbelievable journey in a crazy airplane (English Airplane! ), For which he was nominated for a BAFTA Award for the best screenplay, and the trilogy The Naked Cannon . The Sugar / Abrahams / Sugar trio banded together early on as they grew up together in Milwaukee.
Since the late 1980s Abrahams has concentrated on the production of his own films such as Two Times Two ( Big Business ) or Hot Shots! .
