Bijilo Beach is a beach in the West African state of Gambia .

Bijilo Beach is located in the West Coast Region in the Kombo North District . As Bijilo Beach the beach section of the Atlantic Ocean near the town of Bijilo referred. The beach section is north of Brufut Beach and south of Kololi Beach .

In 2001 illegal sand mining was reported, the only legal place for sand mining is at Kartong . The illegal mining of sand promotes coastal erosion . Sand mining has been prohibited on Bijilo Beach since 1996.
