Kololi Beach (name variant: Senegambia Area and shortened Senegambia ) is a village and a beach in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 477 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 130.

Kololi Beach is located in the West Coast Region in the Kombo North District .
The beach section facing the Atlantic Ocean near Kololi , a district in the municipality of Kanifing ( English Kanifing Municipal ), is called Kololi Beach . In contrast to the Kololi district, Kololi Beach belongs to the West Coast region.
The beach section is at Kololi Point . To the north is Kotu Beach , at Kotu Point and the mouth of the Kotu . South of Kololi Beach is the Bijilo Forest Park and Bijilo Beach .

Along with Kotu , Fajara and Bakau, Kololi Beach is one of the larger places that are used for tourism in Gambia . Several larger hotels and hotel complexes have settled in Kololi Beach. The Senegambia Beach Hotel was one of the first hotels in Gambia. The whole tourist center, which has several supermarkets, banks and restaurants, is called Senegambia or Senegambia Area , colloquially after the Senegambia Beach Hotel .
Meeting place
One of the hotel complexes in Kololi Beach, the 5-star hotel Kairaba Beach , is equipped with a conference center and presidential suites . The Gambia's government occasionally invites foreign guests here and hosts high-level international conferences .
