Khaled Tafesh
Khaled Tafesh ( Arabic خالد طافش, DMG Ḫālid Ṭāfiš , * around 1963 ) is a Palestinian politician. As a member of the “Progress and Change” electoral list, he is a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council. His electoral list is assigned by Israel to Hamas, which ruled the Gaza Strip . On January 20, 2012, one day after President Abd al-Aziz Duwaik , Tafesh was arrested by Israeli security forces at his home in Bethlehem in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. According to dpa, 24 of the 132 members of the Palestinian parliament are currently imprisoned in Israel.
