Khan Research Center

The Khan Research Center , English Khan Research Laboratories , is a complex of research facilities in Kahuta , Pakistan . It is named after the mechanical engineer Abdul Kadir Khan . The laboratories were established in the 1970s and are linked to the development of the first Pakistani nuclear weapons developed in Project-706. Other projects include the development of the Ghauri medium-range missile .
