Kickball
Kickball (English: kick = to push) is a ball sport that is mainly practiced in the United States.
It is similar to baseball and was first documentedly mentioned in 1917. It is played on a softball field with a 250 to 400 mm inflated rubber ball.
Game flow
In the game, the pitcher rolls an air-filled rubber ball towards the batter . This kicks the ball onto the field. Now he has to try to get to first base as quickly as possible . There it cannot be thrown off by the field players of the opposing team. If that happens, the team receives an out . With three outs, the game is over and the batter team acts as a defensive team in the field.
distribution
Kickball is the number one kid's game in the United States. Baseball or football is too hard for many . With kickball, the risk of injuries is relatively low. The largest kickball league in the USA is the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA).
