Kickbase is a soccer manager app for mobile devices and browsers. It was founded in Munich in 2013. Kickbase has been the official Bundesliga manager of the media group Sky Deutschland since August 17, 2017 . In contrast to other online managers such as B. the Kicker Manager , the game principle of Kickbase is based on real-time data. During a real Bundesliga game, the app user receives live points for every action by his players, which he can view in real time.

In 2016, the online manager, which was founded by Munich-based Anatol Korel, Daniel Wagner, Felix van de Sand and Ante Kristo, had 120,000 active users. 2016 was Kick base part of the third season of the VOX - entertainment show The cave lion left, but without this investment. In a subsequent interview at Gründerszene.de, the founder Anatol Korel stated that an investment was not the primary goal of participation.

After the broadcast on "Die Höhle der Löwen" the community grew steadily and is now with 200,000 users and over 1,000,000 downloads of the app. This makes Kickbase one of the largest manager communities in Germany.
