Kiedricher Wasseros

The Wasseros is a Rheingau vineyard northeast of Kiedrich in the Rheingau . It belongs to the major Heiligenstock area .

Name origin

As early as 1610, emerging spring areas were called Wasserrosse in old cadastral sites , from which the name of this site is derived.

Vineyard

The shallow, stony-gritty soils consist partly of loess and loess loam.

Wine characteristics

The wines are characterized by a fine mineral acidity, they are particularly harmonious even as young wines.
